Course Overview

Next-gen Firewalls (NGFW) represent a significant evolution from traditional firewalls, and Fortinet's FortiGate NGFW stands out as a leading product in this dynamic market. This comprehensive course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to proficiently navigate and utilize the advanced features of FortiGate NGFW. 

The course begins with an overview of FortiGate NGFWs. Next, we will deep dive into advanced configurations for threat management (Antivirus, Web and application filter, DNS filter). Moving ahead, we will discuss user authentication options, traffic shaping, Zero-Trust, and high availability of firewalls. Then we will talk about all the options for VPN access (Tunnel and user-based) such as IPSEC and SSL VPNs. Lastly, we will cover common troubleshooting and maintenance scenarios, along with best practices. 

By the end of the course, you will learn to explore advanced functions such as VPNs, threat management, user authentication, and Zero-Trust architecture. You will gain hands-on experience configuring secure settings for firewalls and executing traffic shaping and QoS policies. Additionally, you will master hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance tasks, ensuring you have all the skills needed to excel with FortiGate NGFW.
