Course Overview

Augmented Reality is one of the hottest emerging technologies that let people superimpose digital 2D & 3D content over real-world scenes. With the availability of powerful mobile devices with high-quality cameras, the technology is in the palm of your hands.
We will start with the overview and introduction to the world of Augmented Reality. It’s a fun technology that lets you see the real-life sized models of the objects in your smartphones. We will also learn about parallel technologies like Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR). We will then dive deeper and get to know about all the necessary steps that we need for the Installation and Setup of various software. We will move further and learn in-depth about Unity and its installation process. Now, in the fun part, we get our hands dirty and build an AR app with some cool features. Post that we will learn about various terms involved like Plane Detection, Lighting and Shadows. Further, we will learn how we can transform 3D objects in AR. Finally, we will learn about image recognition and tracking.

By the end of this course, you will be able to develop AR apps for mobile. Let’s get started with our journey of combining the real world with the virtual world.
