Course Overview

Cisco CCNP ENCOR (350-401) is a professional-level certification exam that tests the knowledge and skills of the students implementing and operating Cisco enterprise network core technologies. The CCNP ENCOR is the required core exam for CCNP Enterprise certification, and it prepares students for several roles in network management, such as network engineer, network security engineer, network architect, network operations specialist and others. It’s crucial for students preparing for this exam to gain the necessary training, skills and knowledge needed in order to gain confidence and proficiency in applying the networking concepts and pass the exam with ease.

The course will begin with a refresher of part 1 of the Cisco CCNP ENCOR (350-401) course. Moving ahead, the course will demonstrate how to implement Network Assurance and how to use various tools for network troubleshooting. Next, the course will illustrate how to secure your wired and wireless networks and what are the mandatory components of a secure network design. You’ll then learn how to bring automation into your network with solutions starting from basic EEM scripts to Ansible, Puppet and Chef. You’ll then gain an understanding of SDN fundamentals. You’ll also learn about the fundamentals of programmability.

By the end of the course, you’ll be well-versed with networking and security fundamentals, while you’ll also be able to implement several networking protocols.

  • Acquire knowledge about securing your wireless solutions.
  • Understand the mandatory parts of a secure network design.
  • Familiarize with automating your networks, starting with basic tools like EEM and Python scripts, and finishing with complex tools like Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
  • Learn about leveraging NETCONF and RESTCONF in your network and understanding their relationship with YANG.
