Lab Description

Direct server attacks are often difficult; targeting client browsers yields higher success for many attackers. This lab demonstrates how BeEF (Browser Exploitation Framework) is used to hook browsers and carry out client-side attacks frequently leveraged in social engineering. Learners will install and configure BeEF, inject hooks via crafted pages and network tools, and execute modules that perform actions like screenshots, popups, credential-capture, and fake notifications that deliver backdoors. By practicing these controlled exercises, security teams learn how browsers are exploited and how to detect, mitigate, and educate users against such threats.
