Course Overview

Kubernetes has become the de facto standard for container orchestration, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) makes it easier to deploy and manage containerized applications in the cloud. Learning how to deploy ElasticStack (formerly ELK Stack: Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) on AKS equips DevOps professionals and system administrators with essential skills to manage log data, monitor infrastructure, and scale modern applications seamlessly. This course is designed to bridge infrastructure, observability, and cloud-native deployment.

This course begins with setting up the environment in Azure and using Terraform to provision AKS clusters. You'll then explore Azure Kubernetes Dashboard, Container Registry, and essential Kubernetes concepts like namespaces, pods, deployments, services, and stateful workloads. Later sections focus on deploying Elasticsearch using StatefulSets, handling errors like CrashLoopBack, exposing internal apps, and scaling Kibana using rolling updates. You'll also dive into Azure-specific features like assigning static IPs, setting up Logstash, and enabling container monitoring. Master AKS deployments, manage ElasticStack, and gain real-world skills to handle scalable logging and monitoring solutions on the cloud.
