Course Overview

Checkpoint’s software blade architecture enhances the firewall performance and provides various hardware and virtual solutions for configuring security on your network. The checkpoint had introduced a unified policy, which simplifies the process of configuring many features at once.

In this course, we will discuss the firewall solution offered by Checkpoint. We start by discussing the 3-tier architecture, how they establish trust, and the effectiveness of administrative instructions that are exchanged securely between the checkpoint components. During this course, we will explore various configuration possibilities using this unified policy and also how effectively the policies can be managed/organized according to the operational needs like Move/Add/Change. Then will move on to discussing Network Address Translation the process in which checkpoint implements NAT to provide connectivity and security. We will also discuss Automatic/Manual NAT and Hide/Static NAT. The checkpoint had also introduced the concept of policy layers to filter the traffic at wire speed, in this course, we will discuss the use of layers and configuring them.  

By the end of this course, you will be able to Design and deploy the Check Point Security Gateway, configure Security Policies, and learn about managing and monitoring secure networks.

He is also a certified instructor for Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, Extreme, EC-Council, IPv6 forum. He is a guest lecturer at the University of Madras for M.Sc Cyber Forensics and P.G.
