Course Overview

As more organizations migrate to cloud-based collaboration platforms, securing sensitive data within Microsoft Office 365 has become mission-critical. With its widespread adoption, Office 365 is a prime target for cyber threats ranging from phishing to data breaches. Learning to implement and manage its built-in security capabilities empowers professionals to protect users, data, and infrastructure. This course equips learners with the practical skills required to secure Office 365 environments using Microsoft’s robust security tools and services.

The course begins with preparing a lab environment, followed by an exploration of common threat vectors and Office 365’s security ecosystem. Learners dive into Microsoft Defender for Office 365 (formerly ATP), mastering tools such as Safe Links, Safe Attachments, and Exchange Online Protection. It continues with Office 365 Threat Intelligence, auditing capabilities in the Security and Compliance Center, and insights and alerts management. Hands-on experience with Cloud Application Security and advanced security management is also provided to help learners proactively detect and respond to threats.

This chapter-based course equips learners with real-world skills to effectively secure, monitor, and manage Office 365 environments using Microsoft’s cybersecurity solutions.
