Course Overview

Many people don’t know how to get started with planning a network security assessment, furthermore many organizations’ networks are designed and configured poorly which does not support scalability, and security and lacks performance.  A network assessment is a detailed report and analysis of a company’s existing IT infrastructure, management, security, processes, and performance.

This course will begin with the importance and benefits of network assessments within an organization and how they can improve the network’s performance and security. Further, you will get to know how virtualization technologies work as many systems now are virtual machines, and also an introduction to performing a network security assessment and you will gain the skills in performing vulnerability discovery using the popular tools within the cybersecurity industry.
