Course Overview

Kali Linux is a powerful penetration testing platform widely used for ethical hacking and security assessments. Understanding exploitation techniques within Kali is essential for identifying system vulnerabilities, testing defenses, and strengthening cybersecurity measures. By mastering these techniques, security professionals can simulate real-world attacks, uncover weaknesses, and implement effective countermeasures to protect networks and systems.

This course begins with exploiting services, covering attacks on Samba, IRC, and Java RMI to demonstrate how attackers leverage misconfigurations and vulnerabilities. It then explores Shellshock exploitation, using Metasploit, HTTP-based attacks, and BadBash techniques to compromise systems. Finally, the course delves into privilege escalation, focusing on kernel exploits, Empire, and Setoolkit, which attackers use to gain elevated access and control over compromised systems.

By the end of this course, learners will gain hands-on experience with service exploitation, privilege escalation, and advanced attack techniques, equipping them with the skills needed to identify and mitigate real-world security threats.
