Course Overview

Cybersecurity organizations need structured approaches to manage incidents, exchange threat intelligence, handle vulnerability disclosures, and demonstrate security maturity. This course focuses on national-level cybersecurity practices that help organizations strengthen incident preparedness, collaboration, responsible vulnerability handling, and compliance. This course begins with the National Incident Management Lifecycle, covering the six phases of Prepare, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover, and Learn, along with NCRG and aeCERT coordination and national playbooks. It then covers collaborative information sharing using TLP and STIX/TAXII, followed by vulnerability disclosure policies and their integration with patch management. The course concludes with National Cyber Accreditation (NCAP), including mandatory and voluntary tracks, the UAE IA Maturity Model, continuous monitoring, and cross-recognition for compliance. You will gain practical knowledge of national incident response, threat intelligence sharing, vulnerability disclosure, and cybersecurity accreditation to strengthen organizational resilience and compliance.
