Course Overview

Microsoft Azure is one of the leading cloud platforms used by organizations globally, and securing its environment is a critical priority. This course, Introduction to Azure Cloud Security Tools and Services, is designed to help IT professionals, cloud engineers, and cybersecurity specialists understand the wide array of Azure-native tools and services available for protecting cloud infrastructure, enabling them to build a secure and compliant environment.

This course begins with an in-depth look at Azure Security Center, highlighting its role in assessing cloud security posture and mitigating threats. It then moves on to Azure Active Directory, covering identity and access management fundamentals. Students will also explore VPN Gateway for secure network connectivity and DDoS Protection to safeguard against attacks. Encryption and key management are addressed via Azure Key Vault and Dedicated HSM, while Application Gateways are introduced for managing traffic securely, with hands-on practicals included.
