James Freeman

James Freeman has worked in the technology industry since 1998, taking on a number of roles but for the last decade has worked exclusively in client facing roles. During this time, he spotted a real need to making changes predictable, reliable, and removing the mundane nature of technology work. Around 8 years ago he started working with Ansible and has gone on to implement this in a variety of manners for many household names and large enterprises. He has a passion for learning and teaching others, and is a serial author and public speaker, and has had four books published (to date) on the subject of automation with Ansible. His experience in client facing and teaching roles means he always maintains a down to earth, real-world perspective on technology and believes that the real gift of knowledge is in its sharing.
