Course Overview

IT administrators often master the management of Windows devices in a company with GPO, SCCM or even Intune. However, when it comes to managing macOS devices, it has always been considered a challenge or even a burden as those devices were less common in the business environment.

Nowadays, having macOS devices in a business environment is becoming mandatory, for specific use cases with Marketing, iOS development or even VIP users. More and more companies are now offering the mac as a choice program to attract and keep talented employees.

For those reasons, it is important that you, as an IT administrator, understand how to manage a mac in a company. One of the key aspects of managing a device is to learn how to secure it and to ensure that you are not bringing any breaches into your business environment by allowing users to have a mac.

This course will then help you to understand every security layer that Apple has been implementing in its macOS devices to make them safe. Most importantly, you will learn how to configure those settings and how to harden your mac.
