Course Overview

Azure DevOps is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform from Microsoft that provides an end-to-end DevOps toolchain for developing and deploying software. It also integrates with most leading tools on the market and is a great option for orchestrating a DevOps toolchain. If you are willing to pursue your career in DevOps or if you want to upgrade your knowledge in DevOps, then this course is for you.

The course will begin with Azure DevOps organization wherein you will learn how to scale organizations by creating multiple projects per team. Next, you will find out how to create work items, stories, tasks, epics in line with your organization business needs and plan sprint(s) by assigning work items from your backlog to sprint. Further, you will get to know how to tag and color work-items to filter tasks by using Azure DevOps queries. Then, you will learn the fundamentals of Continuous Integration & Delivery for Infrastructure as Code using Azure DevOps classic pipeline. Following that, you will learn to build a Release pipeline leveraging different tasks on Azure DevOps and also how to write YAML pipeline for configuring CI/CD pipeline using pipeline structure like stages > jobs > steps > tasks. Moving ahead, you will learn to create multi-staged pipelines to deploy infrastructure on Azure and how to configure variables, conditions, and custom bash scripts in Azure DevOps pipeline as well. Later, you will explore how to use nested templates with reusable content, logic, and parameters. And finally, you will gain knowledge on how to deploy an Azure DevOps pipeline in an actual production environment.

By the end of this course, you will have mastered Azure DevOps.
