Course Overview

MySQL is one of the most widely used relational database management systems, powering countless applications and websites worldwide. For beginners, learning MySQL provides a solid foundation for working with data, developing applications, and managing databases effectively. As organizations increasingly rely on data-driven decision-making, understanding MySQL is an essential skill for both aspiring developers and IT professionals looking to strengthen their technical expertise.

This course begins with an introduction to MySQL and installing MySQL Workbench before moving into core concepts. Learners will create their first database, explore data types, and practice inserting and retrieving records using SQL queries. The course then progresses to logical operators such as AND, OR, NOT, and advanced operators like IN, BETWEEN, and LIKE. Students will also work with ordering, filtering, updating, deleting, and managing constraints, primary keys, and foreign keys. Further, the course covers joins in detail, including left, right, cross, and multiple joins, enabling learners to connect and query data across multiple tables efficiently.

By the end of this course, learners will gain confidence in writing SQL queries, managing databases, and applying MySQL effectively for real-world applications.
