Course Overview

Open-source Intelligence (OSINT) is an essential cybersecurity discipline that involves collecting, analyzing, and verifying publicly available information to support investigations, threat intelligence, and digital security operations. Effective OSINT techniques help security professionals identify online identities, investigate suspicious activities, assess digital footprints, and gather actionable intelligence using specialized tools and publicly accessible resources. This course begins with an introduction to OSINT Level 3 and explores outreach techniques, sock puppets, metadata analysis, online communities, extremist groups, and conspiracy networks. It covers a wide range of OSINT tools for distraction techniques, geolocation, social media intelligence (SOCMINT), business research, threat intelligence, dark web investigations, website monitoring, data leak analysis, advanced search operators, and digital investigations. The course also addresses report writing, evidence preservation, chain of custody, body language, personality analysis, and practical investigation challenges. By completing this course, you will develop practical OSINT investigation skills, discover specialized intelligence tools, analyze digital evidence, and produce structured reports for cybersecurity investigations.
