Course Overview

Data is the lifeblood of any organization and Azure Synapse Analytics is the flagship data offering in Microsoft’s cloud, combining data warehousing with dedicated SQL pools, on-demand and ad hoc querying with the serverless SQL pool, and data transformation with Apache Spark pools.   With all of this functionality across various integrated products, Azure Synapse Analytics has a broad surface area.   If you want to secure your data while still enabling data scientists and business analysts to deliver data-driven insights, this is the course for you!

In this course, you will gain an understanding of the core functionality behind Azure Synapse Analytics, including the three types of data pools and ETL orchestration with Synapse Pipelines.   You will understand how your company can make use of Synapse Analytics and then how to lock it down so that only the right people can access data relevant to them.  You will learn the best practices for securing Azure Synapse Analytics, covering everything from network and storage-level security up to controlling who sees which individual rows of data.

If you want to design, implement, and secure your Azure Synapse Analytics data warehouse, this course will give you the foundation you need for success.

The necessary resources for this course are in the "Resources" section of Video 1.1. You can also access them through this direct link - https://github.com/ec-council-learning/Securing-Your-Data-Warehouse-with-Azure-Synapse-Analytics
