Course Overview

BackBox Linux is an open-source Ubuntu-based Linux distribution that is specially designed for penetration testers, ethical hackers, security researchers, and forensic analysts/investigators. BackBox features a wide variety of tools for several security tasks including web application analysis, network analysis, stress tests, sniffing, vulnerability assessment, computer forensic analysis, automotive, and exploitation.

BackBox works on the light window manager XFCE and is designed to deliver a fast, effective, customizable and complete experience, and hence, it is considered easier to use for beginners. BackBox provides around 70 tools and has been designed to eliminate tools offering similar functionality to enable ease of use.

Hands-on training on penetration testing with Backbox has never been abundant. Without practical knowledge, one can never perform any sort of penetration testing or security analysis whether you are working in full-time settings or as a consultant. 

By the end of this course, you will gain the needed knowledge to perform vulnerability assessment and penetration testing for your client or the company you are working for. This course will equip you with the real-world skills needed to excel in the world of cybersecurity.
