Course Overview

NetApp storage solutions are widely used in enterprise environments for efficient data management, virtualization, and cloud integration. Learning how to set up and manage a NetApp storage lab is essential for IT professionals, system administrators, and storage engineers who want to gain hands-on experience without incurring high costs. This course provides a step-by-step guide to building your own NetApp storage lab for free, allowing you to develop crucial skills in configuring and managing NetApp ONTAP environments in a virtualized setup.

This course begins with an introduction to lab topology, ensuring a strong foundational understanding before diving into the practical setup. You will learn how to configure VMware and networking, install and set up the VyOS router, and deploy multiple NetApp ONTAP simulator nodes across different clusters. The course also covers upgrading the NetApp simulator, setting up Windows and Linux hosts, installing VMware ESXi and vCenter Server, and configuring a CentOS API host. Additionally, you will be guided through the installation of SuperPutty to streamline your lab management.
